Double Feature Event with Jason Evert featuring two talks: Purified and Gender & the Theology of Your Body: A family-based event that invites parents, teens, and all adults to learn about God’s plan for love and to consider what is the meaning of sex, gender, and the human body? It combines two of Jason Evert’s presentations, Purified and Gender & the Theology of Your Body, with a time of prayer and adoration for everyone with the sacrament of Reconciliation available. We will also be distributing free resources to every attendee so that every member of the family can take items home to help them discover how their body as a man or woman reveals their identity and calling and to live a life of purity.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Cottage Grove and St. Mary of Eugene Parishes have scheduled the family-renewal event, Gender & the Theology of Your Body for October 15, 2023.

The innocence of every member of the family is under attack like never before: 

• Young men and women in every parish and Catholic school are not only consuming pornography at pandemic levels, but they’re also becoming the pornography on their cell phones. 
• For the first time in American history, the majority of US citizens are single. Not only do they feel unprepared for marriage, they no longer see its value. 
• Globally, more than one million people contract a sexually transmitted disease every day! 
• Even within the Church, there seems to be an unprecedented level of scandal and confusion. 

What is the meaning of sex, gender, and the human body?

• The truth of masculinity and femininity are being questioned like never before. 
• Discover how your body as a man or woman reveals your identity and calling. 

Families are looking for answers.  This is why the Chastity Project has launched a new initiative to help teens, families, and parishes navigate these issues.
