All Saints Day (All Hallows’ Eve) is November 1 and a Holy Day of Obligation. We will be celebrating All Saints Day early with food, costumes of saints, and games (volunteers needed). Children and adults are invited to attend dressed as a Saint. No Halloween costumes unless it is a Saint. Parents can find ideas for making simple costumes on the internet or in books. Items for creating costumes are available to borrow and will be in the hallway of the parish center. If you would like to help with planning, creating costumes, food, and/or activities please contact Lori Eckstine at 541-942-3420 ext. 103. Halloween is a secular holiday that comes the night before All Saints Day. All Souls Day is November 2, and it is not a Holy Day of Obligation.
